He got permission at the entrance of CHOP/CHAZ to walk around, film, and report but as soon as he started filming, he was approached by a black gentleman (who he assumed was appoaching him in a festive manner) and was punched 5 or 6 times. He says he was not filming the gentleman in question. He was then helped by some other people who were nearby and was given aid and assistance. The good samaritans apologized about the incident and warned him that there are some crazy people around. He thanked them and told them he would be back the following day to resume filming. He wishes he had been filming the entire time and had caught the incident when it occured. Lucky for us, if he stays true to his word and goes there again, we'll get a 1st person view of a beat down (from the victim's perspective, of course).
