The Tarsand oil is so filthy... The problem is, it's hard to find a unbiased analyst to get the actual facts from. All the oil supporters hand pick their pros/cons and the green folks hand pick different pros/cons. So what is the net?

Let's not talk dirty energy (though I agree), especially when the US still burns coal. Alberta is already looking at moving the oil by rail, which can handle greater capacity per day. There won't be any sanctions. Nothing to see here. Busy life moving on.
