What I don't get is why people who identify as leftists are the ones denying the corrupting effects of the capitalist profit motive. It's not like that's not a real thing. It's a constant danger that has to be guarded against and they're denying that the thing even exists at all. It's really amazing how fascism has overtaken and neutralized what was the traditional left.
