Result of the meeting is that Putin's gonna make a decision on whether to recognize DNR and LNR independence later today.

For the past few days Donbass (DNR and LNR) has been under heavy attack by Ukraine military

Since 2015 when Minsk de-escelation agreement was signed Kyiv hasn't even pretended to try to meet their obligations

This move to (or threaten to) recognize DNR and LNR independence may be something they're priming for negotiations with the yanks in the coming week
