Russian troops were withdrawn from around Kyiv a couple of days ago.
I suspect it's because Moscow thinks the Kyiv regime has finally started negotiating in good faith (article from 31 March says as much) but this is just speculation, it could be purely military reasons. Either way the Ukie forces in SE are in for a rough time. Kharkiv or Sumy might be stormed soon.
There's been a couple of posts on here about Russia being pushed out of Trostyanets - this is UAF trying to bust the siege on Sumy. Doubtful it'll work but we'll see. It's not part of the main objective of Russia since it's not in Donbass so they'll likely withdraw from there too, just dunno when.
I suspect it is because Russia is looking like a shitty army and losing morale fast. When you see your APC's and tanks getting fucked and no air support, you start to get less embolden to fight a shitty war where you are the bad guys! Suck a dick Danman!
