It's a fair analogy. I doubt anyone would disagree that your internet service provider or phone company should not be able to refuse service because they don't agree with something you emailed or texted?

There is no such thing as free speech, or total freedom.
Look at the big picture with all factors.
If there has to be a court case to get basic rights, then you are losing.
On the other hand if its a private business they should be able to ban anyone they like, just like a drunk in a bar who starts a fight, throw him out and or ban him.
Before you know the drunk can stay in the bar till closing time and come back the next day.
Look at danman he has free speech here...
And when you are jumping from one foot to the other, they teach you to think black and white, and nobody seems to notice.

the right to be able to say whatever you like is different from being able to prevent someone else from saying whatever they like. should your phone company be able to cancel your contract because they don't like something you posted or texted?
the drunk analogy is a false analogy. nobody is saying social media shouldn't be able to evict anyone from their premises. what they're saying is if you are providing a platform in which people can speak, you do not have the right to censor their speech, just the same as phone companies, postal services, internet providers.

And you had to post dodgy dore rather than a reputable source.......
(Old Spike)
dore isn't the source dummy, he's reading from a source.
(Old Spike)
So why not post the source rather than a selectively read and distorted opinion piece? Why do you need someone to read the news to you? Oh yes, because he serves you your opinion on a plate. This is rather pathetic. You may as well post beanyhat......
(Old Spike)
to give one perspective dummy. feel free to read the source as dore and the rest of us did and tell us why you agree or disagree right here.
also the source is a website, this is a video site, duh...
(Old Spike)
lol, I always find it hillarious when someone relying on people "reading the news to them" calls others mentally inferiour. But hey, I told you last year I don't respect you any longer as a source of expertise what more proof is needed....

without knowing much about this case it seems like a red herring to me
western social media is a hive of bots, algorithms & other weapons of mass deception, mostly run by western natsec establishment. Tweaking some censorship rules isn't gonna change that, nothing is.
western traditional media is just as fucked too, a completely infiltrated indoctrination tool.

Yeah, russia is better nasdarovje
(Site Administrator)
if you compare Facebook with VK & Twitter with Telegram, Russia wins hands down in terms of a lack of both censorship & manipulation... so, yeah.
The video (or my comment) wasn't about Russia, or "reputable sources" though. Why not discuss the topic like a normal human bean?
