Satellites don't cost as much as a space launch, it is fairly cheap these day's depending on their purpose, its like putting 5 bucks in a 500 dollar wallet, they lost the wallet, noone cares about the 5 bucks

it wasn't the first of its kind either, it's the 6th since 2013 (about 1 week worth of launches in China)
