Some users are automatically starting off with a fuck ton of points?! I have been here for 6 + years and I have less points than the piece of shit that spams his overwatch youtubue videos?
This shit is ULTRA lame.
Please fix it.

Points were partially carried over from the old site. So if you got no points its cos you had no points before.

It says in the welcome announcement that we all start at zero, regardless of what you had before. I think exceptions have been made for those who helped with beta testing - I think they got to keep the points they gathered during testing.

I only say this because I had a lot of points on the old site - trying to read the points listings now I may have had 120 carried over like you say. Hey, can we still edit comments? - couldn't figure out how to do that.

You can't edit your comments at the moment, no. This was based on feedback from the beta-testers.

I'm trying hard to disconfirm my own beliefs here, but I'm having a difficult time seeing this new site as an "upgrade". The whole notion of a leveled point system is silly and just invites point whoring. The layout of the previous site was much sleaker and intuitive. Not sure why, given the small active user base of spiked, an open beta with all members was not considered. Sigh...maybe I'm just getting old.
