Agree very much with you on that last point. Lots of tralala here which isn't fun but instead really mean-spirited and spreading disinformation on some important issues. Or they're just stupid,.. still allowing for the possibility.

For some reason everyone likes me, i don't get it :) but then again i like most ppl most of the time, with some i go back and forth, same here on the site jtd73 getting on my nerves, but before i never had problems with him so i still like him.
Anyway where is danman? he was on the edge of my nerves for a long time can anyone shed light on his departure or absence? kinda worried

i've thought about this for a few years, the effects of going through the system. it usually only happens to people with a right leaning ideological views but we've somewhat cultivated a situation where an argument between two people spirals into argument between one person and many and the many happen to be spread out over multiple time zones. so that person is arguing from the moment they wake up to the time they go to sleep, day in and day out for sometimes months on end, resulting in anxiety issues and a break

For sure there will be some chronic effects but you'll also have to ask yourself some serious questions especially if it's as you say, you alone against multiple dissenting voices across numerous timezones no less.
Of course it can't be all bad. When you're winning the argument of course there's the spontaneous smiles (and erections) throughout the day, which I'm told is nice. ;-)
