That remains to be seen. It's a long game after all and if the middle consumer's buying power continues to drop it'll be felt everywhere. Watching a report on the news now with American spirits manufacturers lamenting the removal of their products from Canadian shelves, calling this 'unfair'.

Amount the first things abusers do is try to drive a wedge between victims and their friends, family, allies, etc.

You're overthinking it Karl, besides Canada isn't a victim. You just have to read the Coles Notes or Cliffs notes of Trump's 'Art of the Deal' book. He's putting a long settled issue back on the table only to ask for something else at the end. He wants a single currency for North America (and Greenland apparently), to better rival the Euro and Yen.

Will be even harder to wash one's ass if Canada shuts the water off. Anyway, today he found a way to piss off Israel and Palestine both - so, Canada and Mexico just have to keep their heads down for a while and it'll be forgotten.
