I've always loved that quote. So much truth. It just sucks when you have to repeat it while you are the human passenger pulling G's as the rocket slowly tips over before the detonation upon impact and you cease to be alive.

Vladimir Komarov comes to my mind. Still debatable if it was worth the risk more than half a century ago. But where would we be today without those crazy courageous humans?
