A surveillance camera captured the moment when two tourists were brutally beaten and robbed in New Orleans' French Quarter on Saturday night a year ago. The tourists, identified as James Curran and Tim Byrne of Boston, were leisurely walking through the French Quarter on their way back to their hotel just before 9pm, when they were jumped from behind and then robbed by four men. What appeared to be a well-coordinated attack — lasting all of 20 seconds — was captured by a surveillance camera.
Been there. These two kids were obvious marks walking in the French Quarter, white, clear tourists, at night. If they had gunned down the attackers, the video would have been the clip of the year. Great angle, perfect distance from the camera, and the aftermath would have been perfectly laid out. I wouldn't go there but if I did, I'd be packing a 1911 and scanning 360 full time.

Here is another promo from the same ad campaign, presented by a half-drunk tourist attending a telecom conference:

The underprivileged attackers made a bad decision, were forced to be criminals, and were just victims of circumstance. The victimization is just part and parcel of privilege and being in the wrong place at the wrong time...

I wouldn't assume they're kids, the guy on the right has white hair privelege.
