
There are lots of plum trees in the yard, and some branches are too high to get all the plums, even with the ladder. We set up a net under the tree, as some people do with olive trees and almond trees. It looks like one tree, but it's a yellow plum and a Japanese plum tree that grew together (I'm not sure if the term "chimera" applies), hence the two different types of plums in the net. I don't like eating plums, but I do like making plum sauce and cooking hot wings or pork with it: ) Saanich (Victoria), Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Filmed with a Nikon Coolpix waterproof and an IPad (which did the frame every 3 seconds time-lapse).
