Russian Military Police have been deployed in Syria in an unusual capacity - facilitating truces, securing villages & distributing aid. A lot of them seem to be from Chechnya. Chechnya is 95% muslim & lots of foreign fighters have come from there to help the jihadis on the other side of the war. These guys seem pretty green but proud to be helping. Filmed by a Russian channel - Abkhazian Network News Agency (ANNA) - who appear to be embedded with the MPs.
