gets me thinking of the possibilities that could have been if the tech was around sooner. more specifically. later part of early modern warfare. neapolitan wars and such. sword were used as much as guns, we fought in open fields and in huge battle formations. thinking best weapon would probably be dragging some sort of bladed ball, not pointed because it might get stuck in something. rope over chains because of the weight and the possibility of having to disconnect a line
