2:40 what is wrong with this design? :) the building would explode if the blade lets loose, if i had money i would invest in this.

Put it on a plane that can go very high in the atmosphere, start the rocket, detach.

can't see it working at scale because of the counterbalance problem. you can counterbalance the thing as it rotates but as soon as you release it it's many tons unbalanced in an instant.

Straight out of supreme commander.
Scale is going to be a nightmare for the commercial sector due to risk of disproportionate collapse being assigned to nearly every component. The military might not mind that, looks just about right for a hypersonic missile. Shame about the start-up time but China launched theirs on a long march so this is probably a better way of doing it than fuelling on a launchpad unless the EM signature is visable from space.
