that's a lot better than i was expecting, not too much different from a hostel. of course it's cramped but it's clean, well equipped especially considering the circumstances and the nature of emergency shelters, and sufficiently staffed.

And before you get your panties in a bunch, I'm not saying homelessness isn't a problem and mental health and all that, but as the saying goes, beggars can't be choosers. You don't like their conditions? You have the power to make donations or start a charity.
