History shows us that once the ability to speak out about the collective irrational behavior is removed, the attrocities begin. So many are so eager to silence the voices raising the alarm - if they succeed, brace.

this biochemist who invented mRNA vaccines until he didn't is now an expert in mass psychosis?
amazing guy!
(Old Spike)
No in the video he references the expert in mass formation hypnosis, which was coined and proposed as a psychosis (not yet approved) by Professor of Clinicial Psychology Mattias Desmet

what's the TLDW?
people who take the vaccine &/or wear masks/social distance are dupes or...?
(Old Spike)
Huh? You don't need to click play - you now know that the term is not Malone's but the work of an expert with over 100 published papers and, on this subject, several books written.

no I'm watching another doco rn. It looks a bit like fear porn too - panicking about a future based on (often misleading) speculation isn't my thing. Condense his arguments into consumable chunks if you can.
(Old Spike)
Nope - it's not like you need a map drawn. You certainly don't need coles notes from me. You know what's going on. I just wanted to correct your misunderstanding about the origin of the term. You can educate yourself.

origin of what term?
(Old Spike)
Mass psychosis - the term was actually mass formation psychosis. You'll have to watch the video for anything further.

Okay so I've started watching....
Mattias posits that the psychological problems from the virus are more dangerous than the biological problems of the pandemic.
Well, to prove this he's gotta show that 5+ million people have died globally from the psychological problems from it in that case, right?
Other statisticians have come to the conclusion that up to 5 million have died in India alone as of July 2021
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2021-07-21/covid-19-may-have-claimed-as-many-as-5-million-lives-in-india
The real death toll is likely closer to 10 million than the recorded 5 but if he can show psychological problems have caused 5 million deaths he might be getting somewhere.
(Old Spike)
That's not what he posits at all. A key point you may or may not get to - no matter how absurd the narrative becomes, 30% will follow it religiously and ritualistically to gain access to a new social bond organized against a singular point of intense societal anxiety. The point of anxiety can be a real thing, an invented thing, or a little of both (our situation, I think).

He says at the very beginning "At the end of February 2020 I wrote my first opinion paper in which I warned that the anxiety from the virus can be more dangerous than the virus itself..."
then goes on to say how he basically kept this critical stance the entire time

I'm not denying anxiety & social problems resulting from the pandemic are real. I was telling close friends & familiy in March 2020 to take care of their mental situation during lockdown. I have no issue with it personally but some people do. If you think we should be doing things differently though you have to be able to prove it somehow. Neither you nor I are psychologists but we can look at figures eg. suicide rates, economic losses & the human toll of them & etc.
It's pretty obvious the Americans dropped the ball with their approach, their life expectancy has dropped by 1.5 years. How much of this is direct covid death & where has the rest come from - psychological problems or something else?

Yes that's him recounting the first time he wrote about the other side of the coin as applied to societal anxiety related to COVID. He's also explaining that he is one of the people, like me, for whom the way society was responding to the "crisis" did not pass the rational sniff test from the beginning (only about 10-20% are unaffected by this phenomenon - this is consistent with findings from the Milgram experiment). The mass formation psychosis thing is a separate theory he's developed that wasn't specifically triggered by the COVID response (he had already developed it) based on his study of various incidents throughout history, and he's positing here that it applies to the COVID response and the effect it appears to have had on society. Save your pro-China crap for someone who cares - the CDC has been a joke since the beginning; even leftwing types are waking up to this.
