colon cancer is nearly 100% fatal, with a treatment that is only for people with the diease and is 100% effective at curing that disease. it's just amazing that in your mind that is in some way comparable in some way to a disease that's 0.1% fatal with a treatment that regularly injures healthy people that has no effect on all-cause mortality in any case.

one of the reasons cancer spreads is because it is not dissimilar enough to healthy cells for the immune system to recognize, and thus antibodies are not produced and the cancer cells are not attacked. this new treatment is akin to synthetic antibodies, which then artificially label the cancer cells to be eradicated by the immune system. haven't read the stsudies behind this study that cover how the antibodies are calculated encoded and produced, but it's sure to be intriguing.
