thought the same thing then also debunked myself:
water blaster - they're releasing 250,000 of them at a time, and the water wouldn't be enough to break them
signal jammer - they're preprogrammed, no longer need to communicate after being dropped
defensive drones - again you'd need so many of them it wouldn't really work
emp - takes a very long time to warm up and covers a block at best
