Peace Explosion in Korean DMZ

In September the 2 Korean militaries agreed to destroy all their guard posts in the demilitarized zone (DMZ).

On Sunday the Koreas withdrew firearms, equipment and soldiers from 11 guard posts each along the inter-Korean border on a trial basis. Once the trial is verified the plan is to remove all guard posts & just have 1 each. There are 160 guard posts in North & 60 in the South.
