In the industry its referred to as Machine Assist Falling. Not used very often for industry logging around here because the sites where the handfalling takes place is too steep and during the falling phase, there isn't machinery on site. Its also very unproductive. Normally we push the tree with another tree (or trees) that are leaning in a favourable direction. The only times I have used machinery to overcome lean is on lot clearing jobs which is what it looks like is going on here, and only when necessary.
