Because people are prejudiced and like to talk out of their arses. I am guessing 90+% of reported pitbull attacks against people are not pitbulls at all.

Sorry. No, can't tell with certainty by the footage. It looks like a "planned action" by the dog. So maybe hunting instinct got triggered or the kid had something the dog wanted or the dog thought this was a game triggered by past behaviour of this (or another) child (or adult).
You can see it only cought the trouser and "prey killed" it.

Video should give the full stories and explain how we killed some of these animals after they saved the human.

I saw another one right before this of "Animals saving other animals" - in every case the "saved animal" was mortally wounded in the "saving attempt" or the animal attacking it wasn't trying to save it at all.
But I like the story in this one about the mother gorilla carrying the hurt girl over to the enclosure entrance.
