Instead they pre programmed the people he was trying to reach with insinuating he was lying.
Since we are all about equality. Every one should get a disclaimer then. Including scientists, historians, Biden, Harris, Trudeau, Merkel. Everyone.
Fair is fair.

Holding one person, group, or company liable for the WORDS of another is the problem. Punishing people for WORDS at all is the problem.
Crimes are committed with your hands not your words.

Freedom of speech only exists in public spaces. If Rudy wants to talk without a disclaimer he needs to find a public setting to speak in. Or start his own private radio show. It's not that hard to understand.

The news is supposed to be a public space.
Even if I was inclined to agree, then EVERYONE should get a disclaimer then. If this about equality. You can't hold one above another.

You will never get it. He has been PROVEN to spill conspiracy theories and mistruths, so even conservative media will put a warning message on his broadcasts. Same would happen to alex jones or trump (or a leftwing conspiracy theorist).

Sure you can, if you're not a public space or entity, you can do whatever you want. Rudy needs to get on the curbside and start talking if he wants to avoid that in the future.

Question: do you watch the morning news or the... well-tuned news. Fox news like any other outlet just gives you the news, granted if you watch the same news after 1800 hours......it's pundit bullshit..

If all news was Pundit it would be a lot more honest.
The relationship between the news and politics is SUPPOSED to be akin to that of a dog and a lamp post.
The last 4 years of CNN and many others fulfilled that role, except it was through manipulation and dishonesty. If you watched the impeachment proceedings you would have caught the UNCUT versions of many hoaxes. "The fine people." was a wonderful example of that.
Also, someone should make a counter with a nice *ding* sound for how many times democrates have said "Fight" "Racist" "Extremist" and "White supremacist" in the last 2 years alone. Just the cuts of those phrases would be the length of 5 Ben Hurs.
"Tom Brady winning the Superbowl during black history month is racist."
"Aunt Jemima Syrup is racist"
"Treating animals humanely is racist."
And anything else they can possibly think of is racist.
When you think like an authoritarian leftist you can make anything sound bad.

Everyone knows there's bias in news media. I get so sick of people telling me about how bias CNN is.

The most hillarious thing about this is when those that complain about the bias in one direction submit shit from mainstream news channels that is biased in the other or, even worse "extremist" blogs like tyt on one and poole/crowder etc on the other side. Fucking hosing myself every time!
This is why I like the BBC, they are called leftist by the right and right wing by the left......

So the interesting thing about the BBC is that (in the UK anyway) they have no advertisement. They're funded by people paying their TV license, so not only can they be unbias and never have to worry about holding an audience to watch their ads, they have a legal requirement to be unbias.

I actually respect German news. I worked with a woman from Germany and she said they are not legally allowed to use inflammatory speech, any persuasive rhetoric, opinion pieces, or even so much as a funny colored tie. I don't know if that changed in the last 10 years years. But yes, That is good.
