even with zero evidence of lab leak after nearly 2 years & the highly respected head of the lab saying unequivocally that the virus was not there, you're going to go out on a limb & claim there's some big conspiracy?

in the early stages, they didn't know what the fuck was going on, whether it was a biological attack or some naturally occuring epidemic & had to study the thing which takes time. They have tight control of shit like this - it's national security shit & they don't fuck around nor are they known for their transparency, you get that right?

your accusation that they hid evidence only works if there's evidence to hide... it's circular logic & there's no supporting evidence that it was a lab leak. Circumstancial evidence that it was detected first in Wuhan and there's a lab in Wuhan. Nothing showing the virus was in the lab, contradictory testimony saying it wasn't, nobody from the lab catching it....just that it's in the same city, a city of about 11 million people. This is enough for you to go out on such a limb & claim they're guilty of a massive cover up?

I can grant you that they fucked up by cleaning out the seafood market, it's made it harder to figure out exactly which animal there was infected. Local authorities didn't handle it perfectly & some were punished as a result of their sloppy efforts.... but when it comes to foreigners demanding weapons inspection-style investigation & being told to fuck off, I don't think they were out of line on this. It's their country & they don't wanna be bullied into anything. Again, there's historical reasons for their hardline take on national sovereignty you see today. Don't expect this to change anytime soon.
