Based on the scant information available so far, he wants to see how accurately he can profile the shooter and their likely motives. My guess is that whatever the underlying motive the trigger could have had something to do with gambling. The last old white guy who did this recently lost his woman and had financial issues.

The comment section for that Youtube video is great. Conspiracy theorists, Trumptards blaming Obama, Hillary, CNN, MSNBC, etc--a plethora of pure whackos, anti-government dipshits, people insisting it's a plot to increase gun laws, people insisting it's all fake news, and so much more. Glorious.
Pathetic that people are more concerned with praying the psycho murdering coward represents the political left or right opposite of who they identify with than they are even the tragedy itself.
Important note. Las Vegas eclipsed the number of people murdered in Chicago in September by one as of 4PM EST at 58 in one night. Impressive.

You just don't know any other way to think do you? You didn't watch the video. Adams routinely mocks the conspiracy dudes in the comment section. They are not his supporters. I disagree with Adams and feel at this point it's too early to predict the political motive and like I said in the description I think it will turn out to be mostly personal. Adams said he thinks this could be one of the first confirmed cases of someone radicalized by CNN but we'll have to wait and see.
