During the subsequent encounter at the residence, a 9-1-1 call was placed by a family member of the alleged bailee requesting police assistance. The caller was advised by a caller taker that the matter was of a civil nature and that we do not get involved unless there was a criminal matter. The next morning on December 30, the victim responded to the Paul T. White Station in Manassas to report that he was falsely identified as the bailee and was abducted by the bail enforcement agents who had later returned him back to his residence. Upon further investigation, officers consulted with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office who declined to prosecute. The victim was provided with further information including procedures on how to contact DCJS (Department of Criminal Justice Services) related to bail enforcement agents.
Cops giving favors to bail bondsmen, so is DA's office.

Now I am a little confused.
Why is arresting people not the job of the police (other than extraordinary situations which permit citizen's arrest) rather than of people that are EVEN LESS QUALIFIED AND TRAINED?
Were these people allowed to enter the house and why?
Wouldn't this be the perfect time to pull out a shotgun and shove it in the intruders faces (and pull the trigger if they touch their gun), call the police and get them arrested?

The agent drove the man around for an hour before dropping him off at home. Prince William Police refuse to press charges on the agents.
