I agree, but it does mean it's legal. She threatened great bodily harm and possible death on the officers. If someone were going around dumping boiling water on people it would be completely in their rights to shoot that person. That is what happened here. The cop obviously could have survived the situation and detained her but he had the right to defend himself from someone trying to harm him.
Ashli Babbit was shot in the neck point blank and killed for breaking through a window. She wasn't even given a warning and was surrounded by police. She never threatened violence against anyone and was completely unarmed, not even a pot of boiling water. The black cop that killed her was called a hero and not charged with anything.

You people are insane. She was threatening and assaulting the officers with what could be considered a deadly weapon and definitely can cause severe bodily harm. In a perfect world would things have gone better, yes, but she fucked around and found out. It is legal to defend yourself in this country, even if you're white.
If you disagree with the dangers of boiling water I would be interested in seeing a video of you dumping a pot of boiling water on your exposed skin and a follow up video of the injuries. I doubt we'll be seeing anyone do that since everyone knows that boiling water can cause serious harm.
