No, they never disclosed that they're part of Falun Gong, not even when doing videos about FG itself (ethically fucked but that barely scratches the surface of how unethical these guys are). It's also never disclosed that FG receives huge money from Western governments to run their media psyops, not even when they pissed off the liberal media late last year, triggering a couple exposes on the fact that they're a weird cult but huge in the kooky right wing anglosphere alt-media.

Thats right! I did a google search for China Uncensored and first website that came up was Wikipedia and pretty much within the first paragraph thier affiliations.

and FG media doesn't tell you it's FG either. CU's affiliation with FG being shown on wikipedia is quite a new thing. They've been operating for years pretending they're not, as most of their other fronts still do & it takes more than looking at wikipedia to figure out which ones are theirs.

Chris Chappel is whatever. According to various accounts he had a health issue while in college & was dorming with some FG nutcase who introduced him to the cult & it went from there. Not sure if it's true but it deosn't really matter, you can easily trace China Uncensored to NDTV - a Falun Gong operation. Chappel is just a presenter, he could be a scientologist & it wouldn't matter, he's reading a script written by the FG front group according to their agenda. Turns out he probably is a card-carrying member of their cult though. Make what you will from that.

there is the Falun Gong propaganda posted here & then there's the fact that it's Falun Gong --- this fact is not propaganda, it's just basic information.
I get that most of the media about China picks one side or the other & is propaganda. Western media is 100% China Bad. Chinese media is 100% China Good. Popular independent media also picks a side, the more popular ones are China Bad. It's not easy to step around all this bullshit & get some decent info about the place. I've found some ways though. Not that anyone really wants to know real info, they get sucked into a side (China Bad) & dig their heels in. This is how it is in "the free world".
