Does TikTok pay people ad rev like youtube? Or donations?

I once worked with a refugee from Nigeria, I asked him what he thought America was like before he got here, he said he thought it was all skyscrapers and clean streets. Hollywood, media, CCP, they all put out the best sides of their countries. I would bet there are a lot of Americans who still dont know about the homelessness problem, think mid westerner, that lady could be just as ignorant.

i thought the same thing, though just as we see homeless in our streets and so we'd know the government was lying if they said there was no homeless, the same must be true there. also with the dog meat thing, if it was some sort of hard to find thing then sure maybe some of them really have never seen a dog meat restaurant and have no reason not to believe the CCP "chinese don't eat dogs" line, but when the places are every couple blocks then they're clearly just knowlingly engaging in propaganda.

Yeah, there's whole towns that celebrate eating dog meat.

i can imagine country types not knowing about homeless, but all these people are vlogging from cities. idk maybe it's possible some of them work and leave in really rich areas or areas wholly owned by the CCP, and the homeless are just kept out of those parts so they're in a bubble?

Yeah, you're right, I was just trying to think of another reason behind it.

same. if it's organic then fair enough, just like our bloggers and movie producers try to choose idyllic backdrops there's nothing wrong with them doing it too, but this is all too similar to be coincidence. we have fads too and people copy popular videos and make their own version to try to get a piece of the action (tiktok does pay creators who get over a certain threshold of views, don't know how much though), and while some of these seem copycat, most are using the exact same size placard and many have it printed in the exact same font, and they all quickly go to certain CCP talking points. it could be that those talking points are the ones that get most views which is what draws them to it, but many or possibly most have to be getting scripts, as we know the CCP pays influencers to make videos with certain scripts (and there are emails people show around with a ton of influencers all CC-ed the same script).

yeah, nah. I admitted I got it wrong initially when the Iranians shot down that airliner.

is sato the white aussie weeb gonna admit the HK rioter who KOed that dude with an iron bar was what I said he was now that he's been convicted & imprisoned?

 - or will he use more mental gymnastics to keep insisting he was "paid by the CCP to make HK protesters look bad"?

there's countless other examples I could mention, he even tries to claim Karate is originally Japanese, this kinda stuff is easy to debunk with some simple research. I don't need mental gymnastics, unlike the bigots on here who are scared of their own shadow.
