it's cold on the surface but the air above is warmer, the air far above is also warmer, the sea near the surface is warmer and also the deep sea is warmer. dude doesn't comprehend this, therefore it's all a hoax.

So again we take local weather phenomena and make a case against global warming.
You cannot simply look at the raw data and then conclude that a chart has been tampered with. Most likely earlier charts did not have all the data in them, maybe errors were corrected.
But no, "it's a conspiracy!" we happily and prematurely shout.

Nobody said anything about a conspiracy. It's simply pointing out that the NOAA temperature map isn't correct for Finland.
And yes, I can confirm it's been a shitty summer here in Finland. Constant cloud cover and rain.

We had way too much heat the last two months or so, it was dreadful. Today it rained, it was the first day I did not sweat doing the refurb at my house.
Also the guys did complain someone was "tampering with the data".

Oh, and I forgot:
The temperatures we see on the news or measure ourselves are only part of the equation, like sato already said, "the coldest summer in wherever" or the hottest june in whereverelse" is NOT AT ALL significant. The whole picture counts (manmade or not, CO2 induced or not)

as i mentioned, it is correct for finland. the map that shows different averages includes more data from different altitudes, whereas the one with more blue was surface level only.
