you know something, I just realised this thing is completely vulnerable to spotter drones and artillery fire.

it depends on whos using it. if its the west whos got the means and capabilities to do war. you would never get artillery close enough to fire at one of these. this is something they put around the perimeter of a military base, every enemy vehicle for 1000kms would be destroy with jets and drones. soon after, you'd setup arltillery that can reach 70kms and missiles that reach 300kms. then you bring in the tanks/vehicles/infantry and start to push

Yeah, that's the west. I see something similar being left by retreating forces as a suprise or to supplement defences for a forward position. I mean shit, imagine an attacking force walking into two of those. That'd be messy. Anyhoo that's how I saw it.

putting them on supply lines/retreating lines would work but anything on front moves to much and the crate needs a dedicated vehicle to move it. they also got a humvee with this gun
i was thinking of a couple of guys looking at a soldier leaning against one of these crates. thinking they could take him, they're two guys and they got a 1998 honda accord....imagine dropping a bunch of those dragon cruise missiles and then later flying over and air dropping a bunch of these along with the artillery version. instant base

Throw some robot crab legs on this thing and a metal dome for drones then drop a bunch behind enemy lines and have fun.

Just don't stand still down range where there's zero cover .
With good comms this tango could possibly be outflanked.
Drone jamming guns might work on it from half a mile assuming it's vulnerable to such attack ?
