This is completely distorting the (valid) criticism that female lead characters in movies featuring what he calls "the message" PHYSICALLY outperform larger and stronger male peers in PHYSICAL confrontations. Not talking about "superhero" movies where characters feature magical powers but 50kg girl beating up 1, 2 or more 100kg trained male peers. TBH these kind of things are worse than the fake explosions and gadgets in Bond movies.
There is a reason why we have weight classes and gender segregation in contact sports after all.
I haven't seen him criticise female characters for outsmarting male counterparts.
And don't get me started on a black character for snowwhite, lol
