The thought of some guy at the carwash slipping on suds and impaling himself on one of those jagged edges though. It's mostly kitch. Folks will point and laugh at the thing in 5 years, much as they did with the DeLorean.

did you just besmirch deloreans? they have upgrades now, including that sexy legend twin turbo engine that was ment to be in the car until john decided to run drugs and bankrupt everyone.

And yet the body of the DeLorean was more resilient. I've heard rumors you can abandon the thing in a mine covered with nothing but a regular ol' tarp and she'll look good as new when you dig her out in 150yrs.

I actually agree on the good tech as far as the steering is concerned, that really is innovative and handy for a big vehicle like this.
Other than that it is a gimmicky "lifestyle vehicle" with some nice and some useless features (like a blind spot monitor for which you have to look right if you want to switch lanes to the left), which neither you nor me will be able to try in our countries for safety reasons (and rightly so).
I am still waiting for a more reasonably sized electric pick up (like Ranger, Navara or Hilux) before I would consider buying one.
