5 crew were aboard the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and 1 in the P-63 Kingcobra. No passengers riding along in either.

If you look closely, you can see that the P-63 was perfectly banked to obstruct the view of the pilot. He probably didnt see the B-17 until he was yards away.

Brutal...... why even do these shows i hate em......you have to operate in a tight 3d square for the adience, accidents are inevitable. Then again it pays the bills to maintain the historical aircraft, either way..... not worth it. Human or vehicle cost....The crew had fun, to the last minute I'm sure, the only positive.... they did what they loved!
