The agenda is to humanize the HK terries & get the audience to sympathize with them. Lying about agenda or failing to spot it is not the same as not having one.
The video is from a month ago when the ruse of HK terries having some legitemacy was still a thing. Try to keep up.

Does it really matter if we, in the western world, sympathize with them? What the hell are we going to do? Go to war with China?
Governments should fear the people NOT the people being fearful of governments!
Exercise your rights or you will lose them!

I think it matters. Demonizing the PRC reduces their soft power & opens the way for more aggressive policies towards them. If PR didn't matter, superpowers wouldn't bother spending hundreds of millions each year on propaganda.
Eg. when the US invaded Iraq, 47–60% of the US public supported an invasion [link] & roughly the same amount of people believed Iraq was involved in 9/11. You don't get these numbers without manipulating public opinion & you don't go to war without at least 30% public support.
I don't think war is the end goal with China, the policy is about containment. South Korea, Taiwan & Japan are the main pillars but HK is the CIA HQ in Asia & they've worked hard to get this situation going in the past 15 years.
HKers can exercise their rights to protest but vandalising public & private property & violence against other citizens is not within their rights. Nor is harrassing family members of HK Police & countless other things they do. Their behaviour is totalitarian, unreasonable & illegal. They aren't even willing to negotiate with the authorities or making reasonable demands so it's just a bunch of kids throwing their toys.

The US has troops stationed in Japan & Sth Korea, sells weapons to Taiwan & has a defense pact with all 3. Although there are serious doubts as to whether the US could or would come to Taiwan's rescue these days. Look at a map sometime. The containment policy is the US' - see Obama's/Hillary's "pivot to Asia" or Trumps "trade war"... it's heating up in a desparate last-minute attempt to contain China by non-military means. And it's failing. The containment policy goes back to the founding of the PRC after the US backed the losing side in the Chinese civil war which was a kind of proxy war with Russia. Learn some real history some time sato, then you might figure out what the fuck is going on.
increasing control over hong kong
Hong Kong is part of China & has close to self-rule. The PRC has too little control inside Hong Kong & the HKSAR govt is too beholden to the oligarchs there. PRC should pressure them more to properly abide by Article 23... not that you'd know what that is since you get your info from channels like China Uncensored & that fake Brit Winston.
increasing control over taiwan

and the other agenda is to dehumanize the protesters, to try to drive them to violence in an attempt to deligitimize their cause.

In your opinion, what drove them to carry out the violence against women in the clips below (all from today)?
Thank you to the 3 locals who protected this mainland girl who was attacked & was being yelled at to go back to China, trying hard to hold her tears back, and making sure that she got to the ambulance safely.
Behind the scenes of today’s protest in Central, where a road block was set up with bricks on the ground, a woman was tackled by a masked man after she tried opening the road back up by kicking bricks to the sidewalk. Once she left, the bricks were placed back on the road again. pic.twitter.com/XgjdnLmp7G
just becuase you have a slit instead of a poker doesnt give you a pass. Dont poke the bear and you wont have a problem. If you saw a mangy angry looking dog barking at everyone and what not, would you run up to it and start poking it? Would you be surprised when you got bit? Also, I wouldnt be surprised at all if some of the provocateurs were government agents.

Mangy dogs is about right. They're a menace.
Unfounded rumours of agent provocateurs or victim blaming in these scenarios is pretty fucked.
