Interesting idea.
I have some small-isch Hifi speakers which I think I will convert into akive bluetooth speakers with the electronicss he uses.
The size of the 30W amp is fucking amazing!
As far as the concrete construction goes: Seal and round the edges at the bottom of the mould with silicone, so you don't fall into his trap. Sharp edges in concrete will always break off.

If you don't wanna go the DIY route on the electronics here's a cheap and working alternative.
I got this 100W bluetooth amp a few years ago and the kids have been using it to stream YT music.

Yes, I've seen them but I am going to incorporate the amp and batteries in the speakers, I have to make new casings anyway. I ordered 2 boards, one 2*50W BT 7€ and one 2*30W BT/USB/AUX 7€, we'll see how it goes.
