When giving raw meat it should have been frozen for a few hours at least. Other than that there is nothing wrong with it.

If frozen first, sure. Though I think I've heard stories of our dogs in the past catching and killing hares on their own in the winter and still coming down with echinococus. So fire always beats ice.

Why would you let your dogs out to kill and eat wildlife? Who taught them to eat the prey?

I agree that would be pretty savage and irresponsible now, but like I said 'I've heard stories of our dogs in the past.' I recall my dad yelling at his brother when we were visiting Greece that he'd do well to tie up the dogs at night and that he'd ruined a dog by letting it hunt on its own. Caught and killed a rabbit apparently. Hoping the guy in the video took precautions like you say.
