did you know that because of the use of nukes, most modern steel is contaminated with radionuclides(gamma rays). so when it came time to make devices that could detect radiation and such. the only available source of un-contaminated steel was from sunken german ww1 ships.

These American-style docos drive me nuts.

like its a bias docu?
(Old Spike)
Anything political will have bias but that's not my issue.... I hate the constant teaser-style to keep people watching, the dramatic music and o.t.t. sound fx. And generally the info within is quite shallow for a doco. Almost reminds me of the voice-over guy from the Realistic Movie Trailers YT channel.
Just compare this to a David Attinborough doco, you'll know what I mean.

i'm with you, they repeat everything they say so many times it's really irritating. they say what they're going to say, then they say the thing, then they recap what they've just said before announcing the next thing they're going to say.
still an interesting watch though thanks! btw are you sure with the bit about contaminated steel? i mean recycled steel sure, but most steel starts as iron iron dug up from far enough below the surface that no radiation could reach it.

the radiation isnt in the iron ore that we dig up. its in the air around us. so when you feed a fire contaminated air the end resulting steel is contaminated.
