The scene with Easy Andy in the movie Taxi Driver should be required viewing for all sales professionals. Easy Andy knows the client, what he wants, and how to make the sale. Robert DeNiro as Travis lets Easy Andy know right away what he wants. Easy Andy knows he wants a .44 Magnum immediately and seemingly tries to talk him out of it while actually making the sale and selling even more. He even tags on more with a holster. After locking the sale down he then moves on into drugs and even a car. Textbook. Everyone needs to know an Easy Andy.

Agreed. He IS smart enough to only pull the hard sell after making an intial sale for FURTHER sales rather than blow the first deal by turning off the buyer.
