He doesn't seem to understand that it is difficult to develop a perfect solution and we can only work on the best process using the tools we have available. The vaccine is the best defense we have against covid. Can it be better? Only time and studies will tell. If it is, then continue on, if it is not, then see what other steps to take. As the study concludes, people still need to get vaccinated. Also remember, the vaccines were made before Delta. Which has be the lead for new infections and likely a signifcant portion of the studies.
I haven't read the study so I am assuming it accurate. It is interesting to see that Isreal has dropped to a 1/10 of their recent peak.

I just looked at the johns hopkins website, all over europe the number iof infected rose and fell again, however, the number of deaths were nowhere near to what they were in comparison to the last peaks. In israel the numbers are higher, I guess one would have to look into that.

What's ridiculous is getting a country into a position where you have to mandate a vaccine. How broken is everything where people can't take a hit for the good of the society they live in.
High vaccine rate means you can bear having a high transmission rate. In the UK (England anyway) we're back in the pubs, no masks, no restrictions at all just living like there was never any covid. We have the 2nd highest infection rate in the world and less than 150 deaths a day - mostly from the 20ish % of unvaccinated.

No vaccines are mandatory in the UK, I hope they never will need to be. 95% vaccination rate is the target and was normal until recent years. Measles heard immunity is dropping off due to the MMR scare.
We have a pretty decent science education, that must count for something as the politicians and media are as bent as any.
