I really hate the forced progression in this game. The game starts off and you have no upgrades, you don't have access to most of the guns, and there's too many bad guys to count. You ARE going to die.
By the end of the game, you are OP as fuck with all the weapons and upgrades, and there are ZERO bad guys except at the outposts if you reset them.
It's so backwards.
I started a new game recently and I'm avoiding everything that will increase the region point meters. Not blowing up infrastructure, not rescuing hostages, not doing missions. Just running around completing the hunting/weapons challenges.
The random encounters with baddies and wild life are what this game is about. It's a shame they felt the need to remove all the bad guys when you beat the game.
