Back in the 90's my city had 2-3 vacant houses being burned a week, called in the National Guard to board up the vacant houses. Then the assistant fire chief got caught. Back in 09-10 the police budget was being threatened and all of sudden city police were out in force writing traffic tickets for everything and anything and the local paper wrote about how much crime was up using those figures. Now violent criminals are being let out without bail imposed on purpose to overturn the bail reforms.
