in the end I installed steam but then they asked me to subscribe (free) so I erased it again

Steam is free, and it has a good base of games, many free, i urge you to try it, you don't have to buy anything, this game is one of the best out there, gets a realy good score, and freaky as hell, it just keeps on going.
Subscribing is a hassle, but once you have it you will use it, you don't have to put in a credit card or nothing, and you can turn email off.

Before i went to sleep played a half hour, i dreamed about it, i dreamed other stuff to, but always came back on the backrooms
And i don't get any emails from steam, you can choose what emails you want to receive.
