I can't see Russia destroying a pipeline that they controll or can shut off, or russias fear is that the part, there, will be conquered, and gas will be stolen.

It was 30 km from the site of the alleged sabotage on the Nord Stream-1 gas pipeline and 50 km from the threads of Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline
