Goldstream Provincial Park, Langford (Greater Victoria), Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is the annual run of salmon that swim up from Saanich Inlet. The Spawning salmon include: Chum, Chinook, and Coho. You also see Cutthroat Trout, which aren't spawning, but they're there to eat some salmon eggs. There were several people there on November 13, 2024 to see the salmon run, including a busload of school children. As always, there was lots of segulls in the area. Eagles are often in the area as well, sometimes several dozen, but we didn't see any this time. Filmed with an OM System TG-7 Digital Camera. You can hear the sound of the raindrops hitting our umbrellas. Goldstream Park is worth a visit any time of the year, not just during the salmon run.
