spain and australia share a common climate in the el nino/nina cycle. global warming causing more moisture storage in the air means droughts are getting worse and floods are also getting worse, and so the extreme drought you guys are having now is gonna hit australia in the coming years, while the repeated record floods that are hitting australia right now are gonna hit spain. we had shortages of some foods, thankfully only some because australia is a major food exporter.

They hit spain and other european countries already, many rivers are at their lowest ever. I get my water cut a few weeks each summer so that the townfolk (who are more important than country folk) don't run out of water, this year since beginning of July I have been cut off. Some councils have banned filling private pools (tourists of course can happily splash away in the hotels).
