I once left some exposed chicken in the outside garbage can and a few days later noticed many larva climbing up the walls of the garbage can. For the next 3 weeks we went from having the ocassional fly come in the house to 10-20/day. The garbage can was at the end of the property, maybe 40 feet away. It's no scientific study but I hypthoesis that when you have a boat load of flies around, all it takes is a single small source.
Great upload.
