I'm wondering what happens to such a watch if the gasket around the crown (inside the watch) gives way. Must be a messy surprise. Will be fun to see if he provides an update down the road. Thanks for posting!

Can't see the point. I was a casual scuba diver for decades and later a diving instructor for a few years and never had an issue with "normal" watches, under water you just turn your wrist a bit more and you can see perfectly. Every time you swap the battery you have to repeat this mess!
Also I only have automatic watches, with these this isn't possible anyway.

In a week or so he'll take the extra step and actually post a video, telling you for instance that 'stamp collecting is stupid',.. or something.
