To get really smooth human like motion, I think we need some kind of muscle analog. Theres only so many actuators you can fit in s space and you need a lot for the fine control.

i'm kinda hoping that there are servant robots in 20 years that are good enough that i can stay at home in my final years and not get shoved into a nursing home bed and left to rot.
